What if you were the person behind the scenes?
KIPP Metro Atlanta’s Shared Service Team provides financial and operational support and oversight to the KIPP Metro Atlanta schools. Staff on the shared service team direct and manage functions such as finance, facilities, fundraising, marketing, food service, curriculum and instruction as well as the KIPP Through College Program. Each school has an office and administrative team that handles all school based operations.
We have a variety of non-instructional positions that are available on our shared service team and in our schools. These positions are posted as they become available. At this time, we do not have any open positions. Please check our website frequently for updates.
Shared Service Team Functions
Below is an overview of the shared-service functions that ensure our schools run efficiently and effectively.
Curriculum and Instruction: The curriculum and instruction team supports our teachers by designing and managing our interim-benchmark assessment program and coordinating professional development opportunities.
Development/Marketing: To ensure our schools are adequately funded during their growth years, KIPP Metro Atlanta raises private funding. Charter schools also do not receive facilities funding, so KIPP Metro Atlanta also conducts capital campaigns to ensure our facilities are renovated and maintained. Our marketing efforts include communications, public relations and advocacy work.
Facilities: KIPP Metro Atlanta manages its facility maintenance and renovations from our shared service office.
Finance/Accounting: KIPP Metro Atlanta oversees all financial matters including accounting, planning and analysis, grants and contracts, etc. This team also works collaboratively with each schools’ Business Operations Manager to maintain school budgets and accounts payable.
Human Resources: This team works strategically to attract top teaching talent to our region, as well ensure they are developed and retained. This team works to ensure KIPP Metro Atlanta has the human capital required to reach our ultimate goal of getting every KIPP student to and through college.
Operations: The operations team oversees various functions, including data management, risk management, and school nutrition.
KIPP Through College: The KIPP Through College team provides support and mentoring to our alumni to ensure they successfully complete their journey to and through college.
