KIPP STRIVE (Success Through Rigorous Instruction Virtue & Enrichment) Academy opened in July 2009 with approximately 95 students in the 5th grade. The school will grow a grade at a time and by 2012, KIPP STRIVE will be at full growth, serving approximately 320 Atlanta Public School students in 5th through 8th grades. The mission of KIPP STRIVE Academy is to equip students in grades 5-8 with the tools necessary to excel in competitive colleges and professional careers. The school will grow a grade at a time and by 2013, KIPP Vision Academy will be at full growth, serving approximately 320 Atlanta Public School students in 5th through 8th grades.
