KIPP Metro Atlanta students are proving every day what is possible in public education. Our schools perform near the top of their districts, and our scholars’ graduation and college outcomes stand as an inspiration and a challenge for the KIPPsters that follow them.
KIPP schools outperform their district peers on The College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI), Georgia’s comprehensive school performance and improvement metric. The following are CCRPI Results from the 2014-15 school year.
KIPP STRIVE, WAYS, and Vision Academies
KIPP’s three middle schools in Atlanta Public Schools each scored in the top third of the district’s middle schools on the most recent CCRPI, and on average they outperformed the district by 16 points.
Note: Although KIPP middle schools start in 5th grade, scores reflect 6th-8th grade in alignment with district middle schools in order to provide an apples to apples comparison
KIPP South Fulton Academy
KIPP South Fulton Academy scored fifth among Fulton County middle schools, and first among middle schools in South Fulton, with a CCRPI score 16 points higher than average.
KIPP Atlanta Collegiate
KIPP Atlanta Collegiate scored second among high schools in Atlanta Public Schools and 19 points above average, in its first year serving all grade levels 9-12.
We look forward to reporting CCRPI results for our elementary schools once they receive scores reflecting their full growth. KIPP STRIVE Primary, with addition of a fourth grade in the 2016-17 school year, will be the first to serve all grade levels K-4.
