KIPP Teachers

Teaching at KIPP

More than 280 KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools teachers and eight teams of school leaders work every day in our elementary, middle, and high schools to ensure our students gain the knowledge, skills, and character they need to succeed in college and in life. As we grow, we have numerous opportunities for passionate, dedicated teachers and leaders who want to make an impact on the lives of students from historically underserved communities.

Why Build Your Career at KIPP?

At KIPP, you never stop learning.

We know that great teachers have the biggest impact on student achievement in our schools. That’s why we provide our teachers with so many opportunities to continue learning and growing as professionals. Throughout the year KIPP teachers engage in school and region-wide professional development days, participate in professional learning communities, and attend the KIPP Foundation’s annual conference where they learn from some of the best educators in the country.

At KIPP, you have the support of a national network.

A common saying at KIPP is “Team Always Beats Individual.” We foster a culture of collaboration within our school buildings and across state lines, as we all work toward the same goal of supporting our students to and through college. As part of one larger team, our teachers learn from each other’s successes and challenges, taking advantage of lesson plans, strategies, and innovative ideas from peers across the country.
